The daBo is quick and easy to install. Thanks in part to the three pre-finished panels, assembly is a breeze. The daBo can be installed by one person in less than 10 minutes. Even after assembly and attachment to the surface, the screen can be easily removed and replaced when maintenance is required.

Noise reduction
By using our Sonodamp S60P panels with high sound insulation and sound absorption values, in combination with a closed-cell sound-absorbing façade panel, a high level of noise reduction is achieved in the most common situations. The daBo has been tested in practice with, among other things, a Vaillant AiroTherm Pure.

Capacity
The specific construction and positioning of the screen has little to no effect on the operation of the outdoor unit, as tested by Vaillant with the Vaillant aroTHERM pure and Bosch models. Bosch with type Compress 3400i AWS 4kW & 6kW (*see disclaimer). Modifications and additions to the screen, e.g. a roof, will affect its operation. The use of different units and/or brands must be agreed in consultation with the manufacturer/installer.
Lineup
Minimum distance (X/Y) from sound barrier to outdoor unit, due to air resistance, is based on results with test unit. Distances from other outdoor units must be determined in consultation with the manufacturer/installer. Distance from outdoor unit to facade (Z) must be maintained at a minimum, but according to the manufacturer/installer.
Based on results with test unit: X = 300 mm, Z = 200 mm
As a result of installing a noise barrier in front of the heat pump's exhaust vent, there is a chance that some of the exhaust air will be sucked back in (recirculated) at the rear of the heat pump.
Since this exhaust air is colder than the ambient temperature, due to the heat extracted by the heat pump, there is a possibility that the efficiency of the heat pump will be adversely affected.
